Welcome to the GID Studio Community
The GID Studio Community is a professional space for developers, designers, and researchers to learn, collaborate, and grow. Whether you are here for our Python courses, design tutorials, or scientific computing resources, we want this to be a safe and productive environment for everyone.
By participating in our discussions, spaces, and comment sections, you agree to follow these guidelines.
1. The Golden Rule: Be Professional & Kind
We have a diverse group of members ranging from complete beginners to industry experts.
- Treat everyone with respect. Harassment, hate speech, personal attacks, or trolling will result in an immediate ban.
- Constructive Criticism only. If someone’s code or design has issues, explain why and help them improve. Don’t just say “it’s bad.”
2. No Spam or Self-Promotion
We are here to learn, not to be sold to.
- Do not post affiliate links, unauthorized advertisements, or links to third-party services without permission.
- ” DM me for the answer” posts are prohibited. Keep the knowledge public so everyone can learn.
3. Posting Code & Technical Questions
To help us help you, please follow these standards when discussing technical topics (Python, Flutter, etc.):
- Format your code. Use code blocks so your Python indentation is readable.
- Be specific. “My code doesn’t work” is hard to answer. Share the error message and what you have already tried.
4. Academic Integrity (For Course Students)
For students enrolled in our Machine Learning or Scientific Computing courses:
- Collaboration is good; Cheating is not. You may discuss concepts, but sharing direct answers to quizzes or assignments is prohibited.
- Respect the intellectual property of the course materials. Do not redistribute paid content.
5. Zero Tolerance for Piracy
GID Studio respects creators. Do not share links to pirated software, cracked Adobe tools, or illegal downloads of any kind. Accounts found sharing such content will be permanently suspended.
6. Privacy & Safety
- Do not share your personal phone number, home address, or financial information in public threads.
- Do not expose anyone else’s private information (“doxxing”).
Enforcement
The GID Studio team (Moderators and Admins) reserves the right to remove any content and suspend any user account that violates these guidelines. In most cases, we operate on a “Two Strike” policy:
- First Offense: Warning and removal of content.
- Second Offense: Temporary or Permanent Account Ban.
If you see behavior that violates these rules, please use the “Report” button or contact us at contact@gidstudio.com.
